Akkus Foods is a privately owned company that produces sun dried tomatoes, pickles, brined goods, olives, capers, and canned goods for the wholesale food buyers and importers. ProduceHaving had its start as merchants in the agricultural products industry in 1981, the Company moved to caper production from wild-gathered capers for export in 1985. In 1990, the Company started expanding into farm produce, organizing procurement and processing for a wide range of pickled, sun-dried and canned goods and olives. The Company has various storage and production facilities around Turkey, with its main production facility in Halilbeyli Village near Izmir, Turkey.
