Anatolian Themes and Topics is a site about the past of Anatolia. Although Anatolia is a modern concept and used generally to indicate the present-day nation-state of Turkey, in this site it will be used to designate the area from south of Balkans to the eastern border of Turkey. For the time being this site will be in a forum format, though it is not really a forum. It is open to outside participation, no registration is needed, but it will be expected that the exchanges are done in a civilized and respectful manner. Both English and Turkish may be used, but there is no guarantee that every post will appear in both languages.
