I am a French woman who was born and lived in Paris, but when I attended secondary school, I spent a few years in Touraine where the famous Loire Chateaus are located. This is when I started to travel around Europe. Back in Paris, I studied tourism and History of Art, and I became a national guide-interpreter. One of my pleasure trips led me to Turkey where I met my husband, at the time a guide like me. I have been living in Istanbul since 1977, and I can say that since then, I have traveled throughout the length and breadth of Turkey always with the same pleasure. Turkey is a big and beautiful country where the imposing nature and the historical, archaeoligical, cultural and human resources are inexhaustible. There is always something to discover or to rediscover. My husband and some professional friends made me share their liking for photography, and taking photos provided a new dimension to the pleasure I took when travelling, and when searching for other photographic documents in order to illustrate at best the texts of this website.
